Where Clutter Comes From May 30, 08 9:32 am  By: Slade
One of the biggest problems I face in keeping up with bucking bull records is that over half the bulls in the database at any given time have less than 5+ outs at pro level events.

Some of these are just new bulls that will go on to have pro careers that I can continue to track easily. But a lot of them just appear and then disappear and are never heard from again. I refer to these type of bulls as clutter, because they clutter up the database with useless records. If you are on the hunt for a bunch of proven bucking bulls, you have to sift through the clutter to find them.

Where do they come from and why do they disappear? Well, I have a couple of charts that may shed some light on that.

As you can see, most of them seem to come from Oklahoma. Why? It's hard to say, but I have a theory, so let's zoom in and see if we can figure out what's really happening...

Coincidence? You decide...

LOL, if anyone ever gets the chance to visit with Josh Koschel or Kody Lostroh, ask them about Bigfoot...

Rarely does one get to see such carefully prepared sarcasm.
